News

The most amazing thing happened the other night. Jaxon slept from 8:30 to 5:00 without any interuptions. It felt so nice. I am like a new woman. Have no fear it didn't happen last night though. 2 nights in a row is way too much to ask.

I got my hair colored and I really like it. I was supposed to post a picture but my camera has issues right now and so do I...not knowing how to use the camera.

I had one more thing to share but I can't remember it so it really must not have been news at all.

Good THings

The New Mantra...hopefully

I have decided that my cup is currently half empty or spilled. When Reagan starts whining I tell her "if you are going to whine go sit on your bed" I need to take my own advice and go sit on my bed. I get so overwhelmed with everything negative that I really don't take the time to think of the good things. So this week I am going to try to have a half full cup and stop whining.

Good Things
1. roof over my head
2. Sisters
3. a nice soft bed to lay in

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today is the day of green. Last night we had friends over for dinner and had Corned Beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots. We had green jello too with green punch and green cupcakes and lime sherbet with 7up for dessert. Yummy. We talked about St. Patrick and then the 1st article of Faith. It was fun. So...what have had green today.

Another exciting thing is that is has been raining and the snow is almost gone. Reagan has some issues with not being able to play in the snow. I tell next Christmas she can. I am trying to tell her it is much more fun to play when it is warm and we can go swimming and jump on the trampoline and play on the swingset. You know all those fun summertime things. But she goes back to her sad face and say oh no the snow is all gone. The temperature has gotten slightly warmer but downstairs in our basement it still feels like winter because there is a significant lack of heat.

So all you out there with spring fever, it theoretically should be getting warmer and we should be able to go outside and ride bikes, plant flowers, and whatever else there is the dream about during the warm weather.

Happy Spring!

Good Things
1. Things to celebrate
2. Sleeping Boys
3. buying garden seeds

Slow Going

My 5K or anything workout has been slow this week. I started with a sore throat on Tuesday I think. We all have been sneezing and coughing but nothing big and then it happened. It got worse and worse until I finally went in to get swabbed today and yep it strep. So we are all on antibiotics. Let the healing begin. Reagan is on antibiotics because she has the worst ingown toenail I have ever seen. It is nasty. So I haven't quite got to the gym this week. I was up to about 6 minutes of running before I thought I was really going to die though. Slower than any training schedule. I don't really think I am much of a runner I would rather cycle but we will see where this gets me. I am really hoping any of it will make me lose weight. No luck so far. I guess I will have to work harder and sweat more. Yuck! You have to just love what having babies does to you.

Good Things:

1. Amoxicillin
2. My soft bed of which I don't spend near enough time on
3. Signs of spring

Hurray!

Today is a beautiful day. The snow is melting and that makes me happy. I like winter but I really like spring and summer by far the best. Spring gives the chance to renew. The sun is shining and it is kind of raining which only makes the snow melt faster. I just heard thunder.

We all kind of have colds right now. It is not too bad since I am plagued the worst. The kids cough at night. Reagan has an ingrown toenail I guess. It is really yucky looking but doesn't seem to bother her too much. She was crying today because she said it hurt and I told her we would get it fixed at the Dr. She says about 5 minutes later. It feels all better, it doesn't hurt anymore.

I am starting to get spring fever. I am thinking about the garden and yard but not the work that comes along with either of those things. Brian is looking forward to golfing but still has a ways to go to get on the course. I am also looking forward to the kids playing outside. Yeah
