Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today is the day of green. Last night we had friends over for dinner and had Corned Beef and cabbage with potatoes and carrots. We had green jello too with green punch and green cupcakes and lime sherbet with 7up for dessert. Yummy. We talked about St. Patrick and then the 1st article of Faith. It was fun. So...what have had green today.

Another exciting thing is that is has been raining and the snow is almost gone. Reagan has some issues with not being able to play in the snow. I tell next Christmas she can. I am trying to tell her it is much more fun to play when it is warm and we can go swimming and jump on the trampoline and play on the swingset. You know all those fun summertime things. But she goes back to her sad face and say oh no the snow is all gone. The temperature has gotten slightly warmer but downstairs in our basement it still feels like winter because there is a significant lack of heat.

So all you out there with spring fever, it theoretically should be getting warmer and we should be able to go outside and ride bikes, plant flowers, and whatever else there is the dream about during the warm weather.

Happy Spring!
